Join our client's vibrant team as a Roads Design Engineer, bringing 3 to 7 years of valuable planning and design expertise. This exciting opportunity is based in their Cork office, within a bustling Highways and Transportation team. Responsibilities: Conduct preliminary and detailed design services. Provide input to Environmental Impact backssments (EIA) and Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO). Prepare comprehensive contract documentation. Administer construction contracts and supervise construction activities. Desirable Skills/Attributes: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment. Hold a degree in engineering (level 8/9). Chartered or on the verge of achieving Chartership. Proficient in design software (Auto CAD, Civil 3D, MX, etc. ). Familiarity with DMRB/DMURS design standards. Experience in design and build schemes. Expertise in road scheme development, including feasibility studies, preliminary design, planning, EIA, CPO, detailed design, tender document preparation, and contract administration.
