Job Title: MICE Sales Manager Location: Brussels Belgium Salary: Competitive Salary Our client is seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to manage and elevate our hotel's sales objectives, primarily focusing on the MICE Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions markets and segments. The successful candidate will lead efforts to achieve revenue goals through proactive client engagement, business development, and market outreach. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager and General Manager, this role requires a hands-on approach and strong relationship-building skills to expand our market presence and drive sales growth. Responsibilities: Drive room and catering sales objectives within the MICE markets and segments. Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and concerns within the assigned client portfolio. Represent and promote the hotel by maintaining consistent contact with the market and customer base through effective customer relationship management. Solicit new and existing accounts via various channels to meet or exceed revenue targets, including telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, and written communication. Negotiate group contracts and agreements in alignment with the hotel’s selling strategy, ensuring revenue goals are met in rooms, meetings, events, and food and beverage. Support implementation and execution of group sales promotions and provide conversion support to the reactive sales team. Attend trade shows, workshops, industry meetings, and community events, requiring regular travel during pre-opening and opening years. Develop close working relationships with operations and other departments to execute strategies at the property level. Expand the hotel's international footprint by fostering relationships with Marriott Global Sales Offices and global Sales Managers.
