The successful candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor at the University of Toronto with the academic position description of Clinician Teacher (CT), Clinician in Quality and Innovation (CQI), Clinician-Investigator (CI), or Clinician Scientist (CS). The expected start date is April 1, 2024, or another mutually agreeable date thereafter. The successful candidate will hold an MD degree and should have, or be eligible for, certification in Neurology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). The successful candidate should have advanced training in movement disorders. The successful candidate will also have or be working towards a graduate degree or other advanced training relevant to their area of specialization. The successful candidate will support outpatient demands and inpatient consultations. They will participate fully in the education programs in Neurology at St. Michael’s Hospital and the University of Toronto, as well as lead clinical research and/or quality improvement programs.
