Job description Places, pours, and finishes concrete to specification Duties Execute tasks and activities as directed, in accordance with plans and specifications provided by the Superintendent Spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency Levels, smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces Provides on-the-job training for company apprentices and new employees. Typically performs concrete and limited carpenter duties. Ensures compliance with quality and production standards established by the superintendent’s task plans. Fosters a positive attitude within the crew. Watches for compliance with safety policies. Keeps jobsite clean and free of debris as needed for a safe environment. Inform superintendent of upcoming needs for materials. Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by superintendent. Expectations Know, understand, and live the BGCI Mission, Vision, and Core Values and use them to guide daily activities. Consistently show up on time and ready to work productively each day. Good work ethic. Follow direction and follow through with task at hand. Maintain safe work environment. Meet production goals. Promote teamwork and positive attitude.
