If successful, you will be working seven days.The Occupational Therapy team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist in Doncaster. If successful, you will be working seven days a week, 8am to 8pm. Previous working experience in NHS is essential for this role. Position: Occupational Therapist Banding: 6Payrate: £24-27 per hour Location: Doncaster Hours: Seven days a week, 8am to 8pm Duration: 3 months contract Essential skills: - HCPC registered - Required to work at any location at any time throughout the duration of their contract within the RDa SH footprint, or set out under terms of their contract. - Travel outside the RDa SH footprint may also be required. - To develop and deliver specialist Occupational Therapy for people with long term conditions and palliative care needs within the community and hospice. - To work within the Doncaster Community Therapy Service to deliver the Home First model to people in the Doncaster area, to prevent hospital admissions and accelerate hospital discharges. - To backss individual patients needs, set and implement treatment plans and long term condition management for patients linking with primary, secondary and tertiary care, using a coordinated approach. - To contribute to the development of the Occupational Therapy role within the Occupational Therapy Service by working across boundaries and interagency working. - Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy NOTE: We are unable to support or accept applications from candidates who are residents within the Red or Amber list of the Code of practice for the international recruitment of health and social care personnel in England, based on the World Health Organisation WHO Workforce Support and Safeguard List.
