Securiguard is looking for Security Guards and investigation professionals for our High Profile retail client in Ottawa Skills/Qualifications: - Must have 2+ years of Uniformed Security experience in a retail, hospital and College. - Must have 1 year experience as Loss Prevention Guard in high profile Retail stores - Be able and willing to work at different stores in Ottawa - Strong communication skills - written, verbal and listening - Valid Security Guard License and First Aid CPR - Demonstrated ability to prepare professional security reports with meticulous detail and grammar - Willingness to complete all required training modules that include Lawful Subject Restraint, Crisis Management - both of which require annual recertification - Knowledge of Canada Criminal Code, 494(c) and TPA - Conflict Resolution and De-Escalation skills - Ability/willingness to conduct arrests in appropriate and sanctioned situations - Must be comfortable to stand or patrol for 8-12 hour shifts.
