They are currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join their team. The successful Strategic Sourcing Buyer will be responsible for ensuring the business is supplying the right products and services, at the correct price, whilst supporting strategic priorities around Net Zero, Social Value and beyond. This role will also work closely with the category account teams to help deliver commercial targets on strategic projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Strategic Sourcing Buyer to join a market leading business who can offer unprecedented market exposure and progression opportunities. Responsibilities include: Leading strategic and tactical work streams and delivering results on sourcing projects Learning and developing your procurement and buying skills. Utilising their online strategic sourcing platform to comply with internal and external audits. Build great relationships with clients, stakeholders, and the internal team to help identify future opportunities. Raise the profile of the Strategic Sourcing activity and successes to highlight to client base. Identify market trends and insight around best in class procurement and apply learnings to our approach, processes, and procedures to keep us ahead of our competition Develop and maintain a great internal and external network and working relationships with key stakeholders. The Ideal Strategic Sourcing Buyer Candidate: Have end-to-end supply chain knowledge and experience within Foodservice, FMCG or Retail.
