Midterm Planner Musselwhite Mine Purpose The Midterm Planer will provide direction and technical support to the mine operations and technical services teams by creating, maintaining, and communicating mid-range mine plans and schedules. This position will report directly to the Senior Engineer – Mine Planning. Essential Duties Create, maintain, and communicate the midterm (3 year) mine plans and schedules throughout the business planning and forecast process. Generate reports on mine performance KPIs and schedule compliance Review the short term mine plan against the mid term mine plan while providing feedback to the short term planning and execution teams. Support continuous improvement (“Full Potential”) initiatives by completing analysis and data collection to support mine growth. Comply with federal and provincial acts and regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct oneself in accordance with Newmont’s Values and all company procedures and policies. Review mine layouts as part of design sign off processes. Create conceptual designs and sequences of active and future mining areas. Training & Experience Professional Engineering designation (or candidacy) is preferred.
