Technology Leader The role of the Technology Leader is to drive the technology strategy and execution for a specific geographical area or market, in this case UK and Ireland. The role is based in the Commercial part of the organisation and responsible for applications supporting this area. This involves closely collaborating with business partners to strategically lead and prioritize demands, as well as translating the business vision and strategies into innovative solutions developed by product groups. With a close collaboration with the technology product teams the Technology Leaders role is to support and drive the adoption of regional solutions, and to evolve the roadmaps to ensure that the digital business strategies and solutions cater for the needs of the markets across the entire region. Additionally, the Technology Leader is responsible for identifying opportunities for business process improvement through technology, data, and automation. They actively measure the value being created and delivered to customers and stakeholders and monitor performance metrics to focus on the business value created. The Technology Leader also leads the identification and implementation of new products based on changing customer needs. They encourage a diverse and collaborative work environment, drive change management plans, and prioritize talent development and a culture of belonging. Ultimately, this role seeks to foster a product and user-centric mindset to create value for employees, partners, patients, and healthcare professionals.
