About Us The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (EECD) is responsible for children’s education, including early years and Pre-primary to grade 12 in English and French in public schools across the province. About Our Opportunity The Executive Director of African Canadian Services is a key leadership role to ensuing the academic achievement and well-being of African Nova Scotian/African Canadian students. They provide comprehensive and strategic advice to the Deputy Minister and the senior leadership teams of EECD. They work with Regional Centres of Education (RCEs) and the Conseil scolaire acadien provincial (CSAP) on key matters pertaining to all aspects of programs and services to support African Nova Scotian/African Canadian learners.
