The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview The Manitoba health system has seven health service delivery organizations (SDOs) across the province to serve the health needs of our population including Cancer Care Manitoba, the Northern Regional Health Authority, the Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority, Southern Health-Santé Sud, Prairie Mountain Health, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority and Shared Health. We have opportunities for executive director health services with Shared Health and the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The executive directors will ensure effective health services delivery, provide clinical oversight and direction to staff in the integrated delivery of routine to complex health services, and inspire and lead health services staff in their assigned services areas to embrace and adopt integrated, patient-centred care pathways and service delivery models, and drive quality and patient safety improvements. The areas of focus for the current roles including acute and inpatient care, ambulatory care and clinical support, and community health services. The operational budgets in these areas range from $275 to 475 million, and the staff teams range from 1000 to 4500 unionized and exempt employees in clinical and administrative roles.
