This rewarding and fast paced position is ideal for guards looking to progress in their security career or gain valuable experience for applications to law enforcement, corrections, or similar vocations. As you work with Garda World, you can also gain additional training and experience to continue along a path to higher level rates and positions. We ensure opportunities for growth and development in both skills and monetary compensation for our growing team in Thunder Bay. Pay Rate: $20.00/Hour Schedule: 6-8 Hour shifts, start times between 1000-1400 What's in it for you? Interior and exterior patrols Access control, security escorts, response to calls for service Emergency assistance, first aid or any other intervention Detect, challenge and relocate unwanted persons Evacuating the building in case of emergency Qualifications for this position: A valid security guard license and valid first aid certification from a WSIB approved provider Available to work flexible hours Have a clear criminal background Be eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours Previous experience in security Strong verbal and written communication Previous education in security, law or police foundations an asset Previous NVCI or Verbal Intervention training an asset.
