Graphic Design Internship Start Date- January 2024 End Date - April 2024 (with possibility to extend) Location - Ottawa, ON, CA (must be within commuting distance), Monday-Wednesday in office working days Schedule - Business hours up to 30 hours/week; flexible based on school schedule. Pay - CA$18/hour Student must be in a current college or university internship program. Take your learning outside of the classroom! Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize with multiple teams or clients on a wide range of materials that may include web pages, presentations, programming collateral, signage, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials Translate strategic direction into high-quality design within an established brand identity Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content by determining the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout Drive advertisement design, spanning both offline materials and online promotional campaigns Maintain a firm grasp on design trends as well as emerging media Manage projects from initial creative brief to finished output while communicating status to all stakeholders effectively; Work closely with Creative Director, Accounts Team, and Director of Production to ensure all task are completed in a timely manner WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO. Must be detail-oriented, with effective organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
