The candidate must be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher with the position description of Clinician Investigator at the University of Toronto. For Clinician Investigator, scholarly excellence will be backssed by the presence of research grants, publications in leading journals, invited presentations at significant conferences, awards, accolades, and other related accomplishments. The effective start date is at a mutually agreed upon date after Jan 2025. The successful candidate will hold a MD degree and should have, or be eligible for, certification in Neurology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). They will have specific additional training such as a Master’s degree or equivalent. Academic appointment will be within the Division of Neurology, Department of Medicine, University of Toronto. Research and clinical focus will be on Neuromuscular disorders. Clinical service will be in the Division of Neurology, KBI for on-call, inpatient and ambulatory care. Teaching will be as per Division of Neurology requirements. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience.
