The VWTS Technology Team is looking for a R&D Lead Researcher to take a proactive and leading-edge role in our Biology Application & Systems (A&S) team. She/he will be part of the Biology A&S team located in Canada, Oakville, ON. Key Responsibilities: Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects or Program articulated around new Biology applications and VWTS core products (Zee Lung, Zeeweed, others…) Develop and successfully implement projects in North America, France and across the globe to validate new applications at full-scale customer sites, with constant focus for delivering high WTS quality standards and performance for our end-users Drive field process implementation & improvement activities from steady state operation, process commissioning, data acquisition to model’s validation of our projects/program Maximize bioprocess efficiency of leading-edge wastewater technology applications by identifying gaps between models & real operation, detect key process limitations (influent characteristics, operating conditions…) and enable bioprocess adjustments required to improve results & performance of our applications at full-scale customer sites Lead R&D process commissioning, operation and coordination internally and externally, structure lab/site data acquisition & analytics after transfer from electromechanical team Coordinate R&D field process activities w/ commercialization incubation team and regional process engineering. Foster adoption of innovations with the NAM region by supporting the process engineering team, implement training with VP, process design and pre-proposals continuous support of our new applications portfolio. Guide and support other R&D programs in terms of project management and process development / validation with MABR and MBR applications. Be the voice of Engineering (EP) and customers (VOC) within the R&D team to foster communication and business acumen of Research & Innovation members Contribute to Intellectual Property.
