Youth Worker - Family Support Service Service Care Solutions are currently searching for a Youth Worker to work within Solihull's Family Service Team on a temporary basis with the flexibility of being hybrid paying up to £14.71ph. Day-to-Day Duties To provide a support service under the direction of the Assistant Team Manager involved in delivery of programs and interventions with vulnerable children. Day-to-Day Duties To provide a support service under the direction of the Assistant Team Manager involved in delivery of programs and interventions with vulnerable children and their families. To deliver a variety of targeted youth work programs and approaches with young people. To design, develop and deliver appropriate evidence-based interventions to meet the needs of identified young people and their families. Responsible for undertaking Early Help and developing effective support plans in liaison with children, young people, their careers, and other professionals. Requirements This is an essential car user post as the demands of the job make it operationally essential and there is a contractual requirement to make a suitable vehicle available. There will be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends. The right candidate will have to pass an Enhanced Children and Adults DBS check. To have previous experience working directly with children, or a L3 NVQ working with children.
