Our client, Stoney Nakoda Nations, is seeking a Director of Child + Family Services to join their Leadership Team. Are you looking for a chance to make a difference? Position Profile: Reporting to the Tribal Administrator and with accountability to the Board of Directors, the Director CFS is responsible for the overall leadership of the delivery of a collection of Child Intervention (CI) programs and services. This includes programs and services provided and by contracted external program providers, therapeutic campus-based care facilities, and foster parents. Stoney Child + Family Services supports the three Stoney Nakoda Nations’ communities of Bighorn, Eden Valley and Mini Thni. The Director CFS provides leadership by implementing strategies and procedures that ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives are carried out, including adherence to standards. The Director CFS plans and forecasts to ensure cross-training and back-ups are available to sustain consistent and continuous program and service delivery. Stoney Nakoda Child & Family Services is considered an essential service, so this role assumes a rotational on-call schedule to ensure the Category-4 needs of clients are met on a 24/7 basis. Key Attributes Comprehensive knowledge of child intervention practice, quality assurance systems development and environmental issues impacting the delivery of services, including Indigenous models of intervention.
