HRS are currently looking for a Senior Scientist / Leader - Cell Based Assays to join a leading biotherapeutics company based in the London area.HRS are currently looking for a Senior Scientist / Leader - Cell Based Assays to join a leading biotherapeutics company based in the London area. As the Senior Scientist / Leader - Cell Based Assays you will be responsible for leading a team of three experience scientists as well as lead the design and execution of cell - based assays. This is a great opportunity for an experienced scientist within industry that is looking to develop in a managerial role but do not want to lose touch with the lab / technical side. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Senior Scientist / Leader - Cell Based Assays will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. As the Senior Scientist / Leader you will be design and lead the execution of cell based assays used for screening and characterisation to identify the right molecules that have great potential to be selected at clinical stage. 2. You will be responsible for managing up to three members of experienced scientists and research associates. 3. In this role, you will work with automation and analyse assay data using Genedata. ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Senior Scientist / Leader - Cell Based Assays we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. Relevant degree in a Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell biology and related fields. 2. Proven industry experience in design and developing cell based assays potency assays, activity assays, cytotoxicity assays, killing assays etc within an industry setting is essential. 3.
