Position Overview Under the guidance of the Staffing Officer, maintains scheduling and relief in collaboration with the Patient/Resident Care Managers. Provides relief as required for the Staffing Officer. Experience Experience in a similar or directly related position, preferably in a Nursing related area. Demonstrated knowledge of computer keyboard skills. General knowledge of office procedures. Experience in computerized scheduling preferred (ESP). Previous experience in customer related service. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Successful completion of secondary education (Grade 12) Good command of the English language. It is recommended that, at minimum, staff possess the Family & Friends category of training. Certification/Licensure/Registration Not Applicable Qualifications and Skills Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively. Ability to work with minimum supervision. Ability to work in an organized, efficient and professional manner. Ability to handle pressure situations to meet varied and unexpected demands. Must have effective interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret and advise regarding Collective Agreement.
