The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general supervision of the applicable Director and in collaboration with the Program Teams, the incumbent is responsible for: Educational program development for: Nursing staff including R. N. s, L. P. N. s, R. P. N. s. Support staff including U. A. s, N. A. s, U. C. s and/or applicable technicians. Teaching and learning activities. Nursing practice standards. Patient education development. Professional and Self Development. Experience Must have a minimum of four years recent related nursing experience with demonstrated competency in a defined area of clinical nursing practice. Previous experience in teaching, education and program development and evaluation is preferred. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required. Masters Degree in Nursing is preferred (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered). Certificate or certification in a related specialty area preferred. Note: In certain circumstances, certification as an instructor in a specialty training course (e. g. ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc. ) may be stated as a requirement. Certification/Licensure/Registration Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Nurses of Manitoba (C. R. N. M. ). Active participation in professional associations e. g.
