We specialize in delivering top-tier engineering solutions for municipal transportation and stormwater systems. Our team is a diverse group of professionals, and we are looking for a qualified leader to join us in shaping the future of our city's infrastructure. Our ideal candidate Develop strategic business plans, budgets, and capital grant applications for Municipal Works engineering support and capital programs. Ensure the successful delivery of the Municipal Works Capital Program, including traffic and stormwater management, adhering to sound engineering practices. Initiate, guide, and oversee Municipal Works projects from conception through design, construction, and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and manage department infrastructure records and equipment. Provide leadership to the Municipal Works engineering staff, fostering a positive work culture and promoting skill development. Manage the Municipal Works engineering budget and obtain necessary project approvals. Research and establish best management practices related to Municipal Works Infrastructure. Maintain compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals. Represent the Department on committees and associations as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a Municipal Major, from a recognized.
