voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel have a fantastic opportunity to join our Cluster Hotels as a Reservations Agent… Relive the golden age of travel at voco® Grand Central - Glasgow, an enduring monument to Victorian glamour in an unbeatable central location, attached to Glasgow Central Station, a city landmark since the 19th-century heyday of the railways. Glasgow’s Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel is celebrated for its gorgeous Georgian architecture, superior service (everyone here is nice), well-loved spa and unique event venues. We provide a truly luxurious stay for our guests. We are looking for a Reservations Agent who will report to the Groups Reservations Manager and will be available to work 40 hours typically between Monday and Friday (some additional hours may be required at times, all additional hours worked are paid). These roles are clustered, giving you the chance to work between our voco Grand Central Hotel and Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel! You will build strong relationships with your clients through regular contact by telephone, e-mail and in person. You will also actively seek client feedback and sales leads wherever possible. All bookings will be made via our in-house system, creating written confirmations & function sheets. Given the nature of this role, it is important that you have some Reservations Experience whether you have previously worked in a Hotel or a Destination Venue, or in a Sales administration role. Along with the above, you’ll pride yourself on your high levels of attention to detail and delivering our brand standards. So why work for us (aside from joining an awesome team…)?
