We are looking for a Senior Calibration & Repair Technician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established Nationwide Service, Calibration and Repair company based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for a Senior Calibration & Repair Technician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established Nationwide Service, Calibration and Repair company based in the Birmingham area. The Package: Salary Circa £27,000 per annum 26 days hols + B/hols In-house and external training provided Company pension Scheme Auto Enrolled Life Assurance Salary sacrifice health scheme Company sick pay after qualifying period Pool vehicle and paid expenses for onsite visits Overtime usually available Working Hours – Monday – Friday 8am – 4:30pm The Role: As the Calibration & Repair Technician, you will work as part of a laboratory team in providing customers with excellent, technically competent service and support and to calibrate customers’ metrology equipment to a high-standard to deliver a maximum five-day turnaround for all items sent to the Birmingham based laboratory. Provide effective and technically competent metrology calibration services in a variety of disciplines in a laboratory environment. Completion of calibrations within the given time frames set by the area team leader. Accurately Check-In & Despatch customer equipment. Taking great care ensuring all equipment details and customer information is correct. Provide technical support and training to internal members of staff working within the metrology laboratory and to the wider business Comply with all safe working practices outlined when working in the laboratory. Identify solutions to customer problems and communicate them effectively, such solutions to include but not be limited to advice on calibration cycles, test points and equipment usage. Ensure that customer reports are completed professionally and clearly articulate the outcome and recommendations of any visit. Accurately operate. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
