Finance Business Partner – International Hospitality Business Role: Finance Business Partner Location: Cambridge – hybrid Salary: £40,000 / £50,000We are working with an innovative, international, and exciting company which is expanding very quickly and have a working and people culture second to none. They are looking for the right person to come and join their dynamic and hospitality-passionate team. They have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their team and support them during their growth. Previous FMCG or multi-site hospitality experience is essential. Financial operations and business partnering Local bookwork completed accurately and on time. Costs and revenues reflected in the right place & periods. Purchasing, payroll, and stock accurate and completed to best practice. POs managed and in order. Building strong productive working relationships with Operations, Sales, Procurement etc that help deliver financial results. Profitability, Working capital, forecasting & budgeting and management accounts Drive improvements to profitability/clients’ costs in key areas - pricing - both client & consumer; menu engineering; procurement; labour efficiency etc Maximising cash generation. Drive improvements to key metrics - debtor days, cash collection, 60+ overdue debt, and stock days. Preparation of accurate forecasts & budgets per the best available info. Preparation of accurate flash forecasts. Simple, clear, & high-quality management accounts P&L that drive management action. Clean well-managed balance sheet with no carried historic issues. Compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate Commercial mindset & a knowledge of process improvement Excellent knowledge of Budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling Strong understanding of management accounting Excellent communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively in a business partnering role.
