Youth Worker – Youth Offending Service – South London. Are you a passionate, dedicated Youth Worker looking for your next role 4Recruitment Services are recruiting a Youth Worker to join the Youth Offending Service Team in the South London area. Umbrella Rate: £14.83 - £18.55 Per Hour. Hours of Work: 17:00pm – 21:00pm, 15 Hours per week. Evenings and Weekends. Duration: 3 months initially. Information of the Role: • To support the needs and development of children and young people at risk of offending, family breakdown, homelessness, interactionual exploitation, and criminal exploitation. • To provide support at the point when problems emerge, preventing the need for more specialist services further down the line. • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain good relationships with Young People. • To have a strong commitment to Young People and an understanding of the factors affecting their lives. • To build and maintain positive relationships with children and young people and their families to enable their engagement to achieve successful outcomes. • Undertake any duties necessary to meet the needs of the service and of the service users, predominately in the evening or at weekends but also including occasional daytime during school holiday. • To develop, and delivery exciting new ideas and activities and deliver face to face outreach work. • To offer a quality service to children and young people and help to develop their potential to grow as individuals and as members of society 5. • To work within a team to identify the needs of children and young people and assist in the delivery of personal development plans. • To monitor and evaluate in consultation with colleagues and children and young people. • To make appropriate referrals to support services such as Early Help, Education, CAMHs and SALT. • To provide children and young people with a role model to form a constructive working relationship that.
