ROLE: Police Station Accredited Paralegal LOCATION: Manchester SALARY: DOERole Description: As part of working in our Crown Court department any successful candidate would work alongside our experienced crown court advocates, solicitors and paralegal on a wide range of cases The ideal candidate will already be accredited to represent people being interviewed at the police station under caution. The role will include working out of hours on a rota basis to cover police station interviews. Travel will be reimbursed for work conducted out of hours. Should any successful candidate wish to progress their career further in due course, further opportunities may be available after an induction period. Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as exceptional organizational and planning abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, as well as under tight deadlines and high pressure situations Proficient in the use of computer applications and databases related to legal practice Strong investigative and research skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal documents and statutes Demonstrated customer service skills and professional demeanor.
