Role: Litigation & Corporate Paralegal Assistant Location: Leicester Salary: £23,000 - £25,000Here at Simpson Judge we are assisting one of our growing Commercial Clients in their search for a broad Litigation Paralegal / Assistant to work on a one on one basis with a senior director of the firm on a variety of files. The successful candidate will have a minimum on 12 months experience working on a variety of Litigation matters and ideally some Corporate Commercial files. Some of your day to day duties would include: Researching and preparing legal documents including court pleadings; Drafting contracts and sale and purchase agreements; Interviewing clients and witnesses, and taking instructions from clients; Advising clients on the options available to them, and providing comprehensive legal advice to enable them to make an informed decision on which option might be the most appropriate; This role can offer routes of progression in the sense of becoming a fee earner, building a small team of support team members and possibly there will be the chance to gain assistance in qualifying through the means of SQE.
