Management Accountant – Hospitality and Retail Business Role: Management Accountant Location: West London 1 day from home Salary: £50,000Reporting to: FCI’m working with an exciting and delicious brand that boasts a UK-wide experience and a site in London. The business has witnessed rapid growth and has some great plans for the next few years. This role will work with the CFO and FC to implement and improve financial controls, embed processes to scale and help build the Finance team's presence within the business. The role will be working very closely with the SLT, Marketing and Operations teams and this individual must be confident in dealing with various stakeholders across multiple functions from Production and Logistics to Sales and Marketing. Job Responsibilities: Production of Management Accounts, ensuring accuracy at month-end.Production of Weekly Sales and Cost Reporting. Preparing Month End Journals and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.Preparing quarterly VAT Returns Working with third parties to ensure Bank Reconciliations completed.Building processes around Sales, Expenses, Stock, Payroll and Procurement Processing and approving Corporate Sales Invoices.Reconciling Shopify Accounts. Supporting departmental managers to ensure that implemented processes are understood & adhered to. Working with Production & Operations to facilitate the successful implementation of forecasting tools. The Perfect Candidate: The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years’ experience working in a finance department. They will be comfortable implementing processes and working in an environment of rapid growth. They will have a bias to action, be a team player and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. They will have strong academics and attention to detail. Previous experience in a scaling environment and a business going through change. Strong Excel and Data manipulation skills. Currently studying on ACCA/CIMA, at least part qualified, demonstration.
