Vacancy: Maintenance Engineer Location: Hull HU12Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern 06:30 - 18:30, 18:30 - 06:30Salary: £40500On behalf of a Leading Chemical Industry client, we are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their Team based in Hull on a " Permanent" basis. As a Maintenance Engineer you will be Electrically biased and be responsible the maintenance of a variety of Machinery and Equipment on site ensuring that operators can work safely, and that the machinery can operate efficiently. The successful Maintenance Engineer will: Electrically biased Knowledge of PLC either programming or the ability to interrogate the programme Ensure work area is always safety compliant. Be “Time Served” with appropriate Engineering qualifications. Carry out all work following the appropriate Health and Safety procedures. Be responsible for carrying out Planned and Reactive Maintenance in a timely and efficient manner to ensure loss of production is kept to a minimum. Have Mechanical knowledge/skills. Be able to work from Engineering Drawings Ideally have experience within Chemical Industry As a Maintenance Engineer you will be an excellent communicator and have practical, hands-on way of working. You will be a good team player and be able to follow verbal instructions. The role of Maintenance Engineer has a starting salary of £40500 this includes shift allowance. The successful candidate will be working on 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off shift pattern 06:30 - 18:30, 18:30 - 06:30 with 33 days holiday including bank holidays.
