Let's change the world. In this vital role you will join the Antibody Discovery Team at our Amgen British Columbia site. The individual would join a fast-paced team to discover novel therapeutic and reagent antibodies. The position would involve the optimization and execution of novel screens and assay development, processing and cell isolation from primary human tissues, and primary cell culture. Well-suited applicant will have broad laboratory training, deep scientific curiosity and a positive approach to working in a team-based research environment. This individual will also have a track record of creative problem-solving and enthusiasm for tackling difficult research challenges. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree OR Bachelor's degree and 2 years of scientific laboratory experience Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Cell/Molecular Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry or a related discipline and 2 years+ of scientific laboratory experience. Strong foundational understanding of immunology and cellular biology Experience with performing immunology assays including ELISA, ELISpots and flow cytometry. Experience in tissue.
